Oh, she is definitely campaigning. Hamnet star Jessie Buckley joined her co-stars Noah and Jacobi Jupe at the London Critics Circle Awards, where she picked up an  Actress of the Year trophy and made it abundantly clear that she’s in it to win it. The Oscar, that is.

The boys are wearing cute fits, but we hope Jacobi actually wanted to wear a satin shirt and brooch. We only say that because most kids his age wouldn’t even consider it. We kind of love Noah’s giant pants. You have to be young to pull an outfit like this off and we’re glad to see him indulging while he can. Can’t say we’re in love with the paper bag brown, though.

Personally, we’re vehemently opposed to sequined gowns with turtlenecks underneath them. The very idea makes us shudder. The look doesn’t need it, since it already has a standup collar. It’s our only real quibble here. We love that she’s embracing glamour while still making choices that suit her and feel like her own style, just elevated. The hair looks great. Love the sandals. It’s just so refreshing to see someone wear a seasonally appropriate dress on the red carpet.
