It’s the premiere of the movie with the absolute worst title of the year, Oh. What. Fun.!!! We have no intention of watching this thing, but oh what fun we’re going to have yelling at its stars for their goofy red carpet choices! LFG!

We’d never yell at her. She remains effortlessly, eternally chic. The look is a pure classic from head to toe, but as to that latter area, we don’t think platform shoes make the best choice for it.

We don’t think she could have made a worse choice. It’s an Amazon holiday special, so this level of grandiosity really wasn’t called for. The fact that the dress has a deliberately sort of degraded look to it makes it worse, especially since she tends to eschew the kind of hair and makeup a gown like this absolutely needs to work. She literally looks like she woke up in this and stumbled over. There’s nothing wrong with the styling. A cute little dressy-casual look under it would make much more sense.

This is on point, but maybe just a little bit too much so. We don’t care if he’s wearing it ironically or if that thing has a Ralph Lauren label inside; in pictures it reads like an acrylic discount special. There’s a way to do red carpet holiday style without coming across like you’re posing for your 1994 family Christmas portrait.

Cute shape and style for her, but the color and the pattern are distractingly unphotogenic. Her makeup looks great.

This is not the first time we’ve found ourselves asking this, but Gwen Stefani, what on earth are you doing?

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Claire Clauster (Michelle Pfeiffer) is the glue that holds her chaotic, lovable family together every holiday season. By the time they realize she’s missing, Claire’s already set off on a festive adventure of her own – one that doesn’t involve cooking, cleaning, or coordinating anyone else’s chaos.
