Good morning, Miss Lawrence. Thank you for calling today’s meeting to order. The star of Die My Love did her brand ambassador duty by heading to the newest Longines boutique in New York to do a little watch modeling and ribbon cutting. She wore the kind of look you rarely see a star wear, let alone nail: Business wear.

To be fair, it’s an increasingly rare site to see women in heels and skirts in most business setting these days, and to be even more fair, sweater suits haven’t been standard office wear since the Mad Men days, but even so; everything about this reads as a woman in the daytime who’s got some shit she needs to take care of. It looks pretty great on her, although some folks tend to have a problem with black and brown as a combo. Our only suggestion would have been for sheer brown tights to finish the look off, partially because of the color story and partially because her bare legs look odd under a pile of knitwear. We don’t understand what’s going on around the ankles. Mismatched straps or multiple bracelets?
