The stars of Frankenstein came out in a range of fits skewing mostly toward the low-key end of the scale (sheer dress notwithstanding) at the BFI London Film Festival premiere.
Oscar Isaac

Look, if he were a painter or sculptor or even a pastry baker in the south of France, this would be charming and appropriate. In London, at a film premiere? Not so much. It looks too casual while also coming off a weensy bit pretentious.
Mia Goth

Well, if she feels she must. We’re not going to be such prissy homosexuals as to suggest she looks anything but hot as hell in this. The color is gorgeous and we’re surprised to admit that we like those knotted hanging straps. The jewelry is elegant, but we think she might have been better off going for bigger, glitzier pieces, if only to give the look a richer feel.
Jacob Elordi in Bottega Veneta

We would have waved him away from wearing so much black, no matter how appropriate it might be for this type of film, if only because he just becomes this wall of black in pictures. Still, we can tell these pieces are fine, and we especially like the leather tie. We just yelled at Colin Farrell to ditch the double hoops because they look dated on him, but now we’re going to be hypocrites about it and say that this pair looks gorgeous on him, although we’re partial to a single hoop.
