We had to go and track down information on this obscurely titled event and it turns out that “RH” stands for Restoration Hardware, which means Zoe Saldana and Margot Robbie got themselves totally gussied up in service to the retailer who supplied us with our living room clock, which we treated ourselves to when we signed the contract for our first book. It’s a nice clock! We get compliments on it all the time!  Anyway, the retailer renovated a 19th Century palazzo in Milan for its new gallery and the ladystars came to christen it with their fabulosity.

As much as you might hear us rail against the overuse of lace in celebrity fashion, you’ll rarely hear us complain about gold lace, which doesn’t carry the same bridal/widow undertones as white or black lace and comes off way more glamorous in photos. If this were a typical white or black lace dress, we’d find the design dull and borderline unflattering, but the shimmer and the color do all the work to make this pop in pictures. Not crazy about the center slit, but the shoes are gorgeous. Her makeup artist did a number on her.

This is the cutest thing she’s worn in ages, possibly because it’s a rare occasion when she’s not engaging in character cosplay on a red carpet. She’s well-suited to this Annie Hall-esque style, but we hate the way the sweater is styled on her. You have to work hard to make sure it’s raised just so and it looks silly and pretentious to us.
