Yes, it’s very silly. But we also think it’s entirely appropriate for this particular venue and that Elizabeth Taylor almost certainly would have found this delightful. We love the goofy-ass design and the giant hair is perfect for it, but we think she missed the mark on the makeup. This comes off like a parody of ’80s diva fashion and she really needed to pile on the slap to make this work for her. The relatively subtle makeup just doesn’t work here. This calls for lip color and eye shadow that you can see from a hundred yards away.
