Look, you can call this sort of celebrity style coverage a little questionable, but we maintain that showing up to your court date while serving a look is a celebrity tradition that stretches back to the silent film era. So in the grand tradition of Lana Turner and dozens of other bad girl stars, Cardi B came to court, where she beat the assault charges against her and looked pretty fabulous doing it.
We like to think that the idea here was to get her as far away from prison stripes as visually possible. We hate the bow, of course, and we’d love to see the suit and the blouse break up and start dating other garments, but it’s a fun look that rather smartly says “Who, me? I’m harmless!”
