For a split second, Olivia Wilde fooled us into thinking she picked a beautiful, non-awkward dress for herself. The director-star came to the Taormina Film Festival to accept the Creativity Award in a dress that lacked it.
Okay, yes. We’re being mean. Can that honestly be said to be so shocking? The sweep of the skirt is lovely, but that bodice is so hideously unflattering and egregiously underdesigned that it almost feels like an insult. Like, why waste that gorgeous pendant by hanging it between two dryer sheets pinned together? Also, the color’s drab.
