Let’s go, handmaids! The cast of The Handmaid’s Tale came out in style for the PaleyFest. It was a rather sedate affair, although that’s perhaps unsurprising, given the subject matter and setting, not to mention the tendency for casts to get exhausted by the whole thing when the final season rolls around.

That is just about the hardest No that ever escaped from our lips. Absolutely not. The colors are nice, but we have no idea why anyone would agree to go out with all of that stuff hanging off her.

The dress is a void with no discernible elements (we suspect that’s how she likes it), but the jewelry’s nice.

It’s a cute enough dress but it strikes us as a bit too twee and juvenile for her.
Madeline Brewer in Carolina Herrera
We’re happy to see a bright, springtime print in all this gloom, but it’s giving wallpaper. That black bow does nothing for it.
Samira Wiley
It’s a little basic and a little mature, but she looks great in it.
Yvonne Strahovski
Y’know? We kind of like this. The wrinkling is clearly intentional, so the only part that needs correcting is the hem job. It has a modern feel with a cynical edge to it. It suits her well.
