Oh, we so enjoy having a new queen to play with.  King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi during the state visit to Kenya. She wore a solemn ensemble, in line with the occasion PSYCH. No, she didn’t!

Three things your girl loves: big hats, an ombre effect, and gloves that don’t go with the outfit at all. She lives up to her name in her style. While we enjoy how adventurous and exuberant her fashion can be, part of the fun of covering her is that she makes a ton of style mistakes (unlike Kate) and you can get away with a little light-hearted dragging (unlike Meghan). The dress truly isn’t to our liking, largely because of that awful neckline, but also because the feather embellishments are wildly overdone. Then again, if they weren’t wildly overdone, she likely wouldn’t have chosen to wear it. We wonder if she goes for ombre because she thinks it frees her from having to match things. It doesn’t. The earrings are really cute.
