We were originally thinking of putting this outfit worn by Novocaine star Amber Midthunder to the Miami tastemaker screening up to an “IN Or OUT” vote, if only because it’s one of the few non-talk show ensembles featured on the site today. But tastemaker screenings are extremely low-key events with little press coverage and even fewer celebrities on hand. It just isn’t the kind of venue that calls for impeccable high-fashion looks. Nevertheless, she persisted:

It’s pretty cute. The cuffs look incredibly irritating to wear and the top would be improved tremendously if they would just be normal for a little while. We get the impulse to give the look a bit more of a kickass feel, but we don’t think those boots look right with it at all.
