Young Hollywood came out to be feted at the Vanity Fair-hosted “Vanities: A Night for Young Hollywood.” Let’s assess how all of these apparently vain stars did for the evening, shall we?
Aaron Pierre
Gorgeous. Boring, but gorgeous.
Alycia Debnam-Carey in Magda Butrym
It’s kind of fun and interesting to look at. We get the impression that the shape of it is forcing her to stand like that.
Anna Sawai in Carolina Herrera
The skirt’s pretty cute, but we hate the trickiness of that top half, which is trying to do way too much.
Danielle Brooks
A turtleneck over a sheer skirt is a weird choice and we’re starting to get annoyed with the “showing of my manicure” pose.
Danny Ramirez
That Circus Peanut color is a hate crime.
Dylan Efron
Super cute.
Ebony Obsidian
It’s like the bust and the skirt are trying to run away from the bodice. Also, the non-colors are kind of dreary.
Gabriel LaBelle
All of this looks cheap and dumb.
Harvey Guillén
The sweater is adorable but the shoes are sad.
Joe Locke
It’s a pretty great look but nothing about it strikes us as youthful.
Julia Fox in Kappa
A demure, understated sort of night for her.
Justice Smith
The jacket is hideous and lumpy. The pants are interesting, but that’s an odd placement for the graphic. It can’t help but be incredibly distracting.
Keke Palmer in Vintage Dior
It may be vintage Dior but it sure doesn’t photograph like it. We wonder if this looks richer and more luxe in person because it looks pretty chintzy here.
Kit Connor
The outfit’s nice, but once again we must point out that he’s in desperate need of some coaching. He always looks so annoyed in pictures.
Lili Reinhart in Shushu/Tong
Dumbass frock.

It just feels like everyone kind of forgot how to dress for this one.

This is a little cute, but that bib is awful.

A pretty decent dress and some truly heinous shoes.

She’s really well suited for cute goth nerd styles but we feel like the styling needs to be more aggressive here. Love the shoes.

Elegant, in a great color, but otherwise a little dull.
