The witch-ditching continues. Or maybe not? Wicked star Cynthia Erivo had a very themey, maximalist style while promoting the film, but she’s been working a much more restrained, much less corporate-branded style. At the Critics Choice Awards she served up one of her best non-witch looks yet.
Although we suppose you could call it a little witchy. We would have enjoyed her promo tour wardrobe so much more if she’d been interpreting Elphaba like this instead of running through every green garment that walked a runway in the previous 18 months. She should always feel free to indulge her over-the-top preferences, but she really looks amazing when she strips things back and goes for sleek over maximalism. Love the jewelry.
