Blake Lively showed up at the New York press event for her upcoming film It Ends With Us, based on the Colleen Hoover novel. Because she is Blake Lively, she wore way too may items of clothing, resulting in not one, but two somewhat incomprehensible lools.

This is one of those “If you’re going to snag free Versace merch, why would you pick stuff that looks so cheap and basic?” moments. We’re not offended by any of it (although the undies are working hard to annoy us), but it’s not all that photogenic or flattering. Fortunately, she packed a backup look:

If you’re having a difficult time parsing what you’re looking at or you’re concerned that you might be having a stroke, fear not and let us explain. She is wearing a floral coat and matching pair of pants with a sundress. No, we don’t know why she’d do that either – except that it’s exactly how these pieces were styled for the runway. It’s so goofy looking that it’s causing our brains to glitch. We suppose it could be considered photogenic, in the sense that any pictures of it are bound to grab your attention, if only to ask “What the hell am I looking at?”
