Snow White and her evil stepmother joined D23 hostess Yvette Nicole Brown to engage in some non-themey promotional wear, which we can only consider good news, because there’s always a chance that stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot will hit the promo tour dressed like Disney park castmembers. Instead, they went surprisingly neutral in their style choices.
Honestly? These outfits are kind of strange. Dressing all in black for a stage presentation isn’t the best choice in the world even when the backdrop isn’t so dark. Gal is a face and a pair of hands for most of these shots. The skirt’s okay, but the jacket is way too big and businesslike to wear over a tiny bandeau top. As for Rachel… sorry, but that frock is hideous. That paper bag brown does nothing for her, the bodice is too long and a little too puckery, and the skirt looks like it’s sprouting black mold.
