After her disastrous D&G look from earlier in the week, we’re happy to report that Lupita Nyong’o rebounded nicely for CinemaCon as she introduced her upcoming animated film Wild Robot.
Our only critique is that we’d have rather seen a choice made between the satin elements and the sheerness. We don’t mind either of them except that they’re together in the same design. We’re not normally big fans of fabric flowers and we definitely wouldn’t recommend continuing that element into your footwear choice, but it all feels so fun and bright. Con appearances, unlike red carpets, are stage events, so a certain level of boldness or even, dare we say it, theme-dressing* works well here. Love the glasses.
*In the sense that she’s dressed to promote a cartoon, not dressed to look like a robot.
