Credit where credit is due: the gentlemen of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare did not leave all of the heavy lifting to The Girl in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
Cary Elwes, Henry Zaga, Babs Olusanmokun, Eiza González Rivera, Henry Golding, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Henry Cavill
To be fair, Guy Ritchie films tend to have that laddish undertone that practically requires a sharp suit and a nice pair of shoes for the premiere.
CARY ELWES
It’s a very nice suit that practically begs for a tie. He could use the pop of color.
HENRY ZAGA
The pattern of the suit is too subtle for pictures, but he looks hot and impeccable, if a little unexciting.
BABS OLUSANMOKUN
Love the suit, but the shirt is a mess and the boots feel like an afterthought.
EIZA GONZÁLEZ IN JASON WU
We give her credit for settling on a way to stand out as the gilded lily on a plate of sausages without getting too grandiose about it. It’s an interesting design. She was smart not to overstyle it, but the gold pumps are a bit much.
HENRY GOLDING IN MANOLO COSTA NEW YORK
Fantastic color combination.
HERO FIENNES TIFFIN IN DIOR HOMME
It’s understated, but it has the severity and modernity that his looks practically beg for.
HENRY CAVILL
It’s giving Shatner. We’re glad to see him out of the awkward businesswear, but we’re not sure a too-small tux is the way to go.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
– Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming. The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques. Ultimately their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.
– THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE – In theaters April 19. Starring Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, with Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes.
