Sometimes, you just have to go for the no-brainer. By that we mean both in choosing one’s ensemble and in writing about the ensemble someone chose. For example, here’s Dua Lipa at the BRIT Awards in a tight black leather Versace gown.
There’s little more to say about the choice. It’s a no-brainer, both for her and for the venue. Is it the most exciting look we’ve ever seen? Is it perfectly styled? No and no. But it looks great on her despite the slightly puckered seams in the bust. As for the styling, we wouldn’t say it’s wrong, but the hair and makeup are only so-so and the jewelry feels a bit random.
