Y’know, it never really occured to us that the original Pretty in Pink princess should reclaim Barbiecore for herself as she returns to the talk shows and photo calls, but looking at Molly Ringwald’s vintage-looking getup for her appearance on The Late Show with Seth Meyers…
It suddenly feels like a no-brainer to us. The skirt’s not the best shape for sitting down, but she looked adorable walking out in it:
And the shoes are really fun. Love the brooch at the waist, which really lends it that vintage feel. Just a smart bit of styling that serves as branding by subtly tapping into your nostalgia center.
