Let’s DO this, kittens!
This week’s podcast is a long one, as we tackle the Oscar nominations, decry the very concept of snubs and then go into all of the snubs and why we might agree with some of them. Plus: BARBIE BACKLASH. Things got a weensy bit out of hand when folks got wind of the fact that Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig were not nominated in the categories a lot of people seemed to assume were locked down. We… didn’t really agree with any of it and we’ll tell you why. THEN, it’s time to dive deep into the icy waters of True Detective: Night Country, which threw so many clues at us in the third episode that we talked ourselves hoarse unpacking them all.
