No one has loved Margot Robbie’s Barbie red carpet tour more than we have, and we still hold out hope that she’ll serve up Peaches & Cream or Crystal Barbie at the Oscars, but for now, it’s really nice to see her in something high fashion and gorgeous that doesn’t have any cosplay undertones to it.
It may, in fact, be our favorite Margot Robbie red carpet look ever. Yes, that really is all leather, from the roses to the hem. It’s amazing how light and supple it all looks. Kudos to the team that executed it. We don’t want to say it’s disrespectful to the work to pair it with such underwhelming style, but her head sure doesn’t match her body. At the absolute least, a dress like this requires a bit more than just flicking your hair behind your ears and calling it good.
