Taraji P. Henson ditched the purple and went for the gold as she hit the Kelly Clarkson Show set to promote The Color Purple.
It’s a really great-looking suit; holiday-appropriate while avoiding every holiday style cliche. We have a few quibbles, however. For one, the jacket’s pulling a bit too much. For another, we don’t think wearing a matching velvet top was the way to go. In fact, it may be responsible for the aforementioned pulling. And finally, we feel like a velvet suit pretty much demands a closed-toe shoe. Sandals look weird with it.
