At first we were going to note that this textile looks too heavy for a crop top but then we realized she’s sporting a sheer midriff panel, and no matter what else you might want to say about this ensemble, that is an unholy thing which should not exist.
America Ferrera in Dolce & Gabbana
Looks pretty silly to us.
Ayo Edebiri in Prada
This is gorgeous. The color looks amazing on her and we love the elegant styling. We’re not the biggest fans of that kind of neckline, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
Brooke Shields in Halpern
It’s fun and bold and colorful. Just about the only critique we can make is that the style feels a little stale, but she looks great in it.
Chloë Grace Moretz in Louis Vuitton
We don’t know. She looks pretty sharp, but she also looks a good two decades older than her age.
Jemima Kirke
We like the idea of pairing a big obnoxious necklace with a gown like this but that seriously looks like Barbie jewelry.

She’s been crushing it lately. This looks fantastic.

LOVE this. The tailoring is superb.
Selma Blair
We’re not convinced on the merits of the cape, but the dress is lovely. She looks great in that color.
Taraji P. Henson in Isabel Marant
Hot and elegant. One of the better sheer gowns we’ve seen in a good while. It’s a shame it’s pulling in a few spots, but it’s still a great look for her.
