Outlander star Sam Heughan stopped by The Tonight Show to promote his new book, Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other, because his whole side gig apart from Outlander is basically “I’m really good-looking and I’m really, really Scottish.” Hey, a boy’s gotta make his coin any way he can.

We have no complaints. When he first hit the big time after Outlander premiered, his publicity style choices were more often than not quite puzzling to us. When you’re blond, blue-eyed, square-jawed and fit, there’s no real excuse for not getting the look right. But sometimes even ridiculously good-looking folks need a little guidance, which is why God created stylists. The suit is nice and the rings are a great touch. We’re not mad at it, but the shirt looks like something you wear to the gym.
