Darlings, when the folks at Schiaparelli throw clothes at you and tell you to come to a party they’re throwing, you’d be crazy not to go. So it was in LA last night as a bunch of ladystars worked their ensembles at a retail launch.

Regina’s doing a great job working that wonky bubble hem, possibly because the color really pops and the proportions are just right. She could use a pants-hemming, though. We don’t like Taraji’s look at all. That hem is too much and the shoes look really awkward with it. Plus the bag seems a little big for this kind of outfit.

She looks great in a semi-basic pantsuit, but the bag doesn’t go, even if it is a fabulous bag. Still, you’re there to literally show off the wares, so you might as well snag anything you can get your hands on.

That hem is bizarre, even for Schiaparelli. It might have worked better with white tights and black boots, but it would still look pretty goofy.

Would you rather sport a face on your dress or on your bag? The answer will probably determine which of these two looks you like more. We’re pretty okay with both of them. The suit is sharp and plays to Olivia’s strengths and the dress is weird, which plays to Natasha’s. We’re not loving the latter’s footwear choice, however.

The bust is weirdly shaped and those giant crotch buttons strike us as unnecessary if not unfortunate, but damn if she isn’t making it (come close to) work. Love the choker.

Love the coat, hate the boots, sort of like the bag.
