And now, some finely aged cheese. Patrick Dempsey hit the Venice Film Festival photo call and premiere red carpet for his film Ferrari looking effortlessly stylish, tanned, well-rested, and coiffed to within an inch of his life. We’re being a bit bitchy about it (as is the way of our people), but he really does look great.
AT THE PHOTOCALL
Say what you will about the look – maybe you don’t like the sockless-look or maybe you think the fit is off or the pinstripes too wide – but this is pretty much how we’d want to see middle-aged male movie stars in Venice. It’s dressier than the average photo call requires, which means the fit or the wrinkling don’t matter. A little bit of sprezzatura is called for here.
AT THE PREMIERE
Can’t argue with that. Some men are just born to wear a tux.
