Like fellow Tony nominee Jessica Chastain, Prima Facie star Jodie Comer is hitting the theater awards circuit. Unlike Jessica Chastain, she’s taking what we would consider to be a more sober and restrained approach to her red carpet style as she makes the rounds.
IN KHAITE AT THE THEATRE WORLD AWARDS
The jacket seems a little heavy for June, but we suppose the lightness of the skirt compensates for it. It’s an interesting look, the way it combines heavy and light, modestly covered and demurely exposed. We’d like to see it with the lapels open and maybe a good piece of statement jewelry. Not loving the heavy shoes.
IN ALESSANDRA RICH AT THE DRAMA DESK AWARDS
Unlike the major flares of Miss Chastain, the silhouette and proportions here are classic and well-fitted. The buttons are great. We might have liked seeing this with a blouse or top instead of the vest.
