We’re currently recording a podcast AND we feel like we’re always really hard on Brie Larson’s fashion choices. It is for both these reasons that we’re letting you pick up the Opinion Stick and run with it.
BAM. We didn’t even try to give you warning. We figure if we editorialized too much we’d influence your thinking. Granted, we’re still gonna editorialize a little, but remember your very first reaction as you scrolled down. For us, this is straight-up awful, like nearly everything she chooses to wear. To be fair, she’s been choosing (or contractually obligated) to wear a lot of Chanel lately, so we tend to think this is a case of her own bad instincts being met by some terrible design choices and resulting in a series of dreary or awkward ensembles. But that’s us. We also think that skirt is just a straight-up ridiculous design and that the overuse of the Chanel logo cheapens the brand considerably. But again; just us. Opinions may vary. And speaking of opinions, that top looks way too sporty to be paired with a lace skirt. Of course, that’s just our opinion. As always, we would never try to sway yours as you vote.
