Something very strange is happening here. All week, we’ve been whining about how underwhelmed we are by Dead Ringers star Rachel Weisz’s promo tour wardrobe, complaining that none of her ensembles feel finished or well-suited to her. But she managed to step out in two looks yesterday that really get the job done for her, as far as we’re concerned. It’s the typical retro-twee ruffled style from The Vampire’s Wife; a style we’ve long railed against. But it’s not quite so ubiquitous among the celebrity set as it was a couple of years ago, so this doesn’t feel quite as stale as it once did. It suits her pretty well and we like the print. We just wish the hem were a little longer and we dislike the waist seam.

We never would’ve pegged this as a TVW suit at first glance. It’s so far away from the typical tweeness of the brand. It looks fantastic on her.
