File this one under “It’s Amazing How Different An Outfit Looks When You’re Peering at a Tiny Thumbnail at Six AM.” To be fair, it’s a file only we would have need of, but it’s a common enough issue plaguing the professional celebrity style opinionator. See, when we were perusing our photo agency offerings this morning, we snatched up these shots because Yara’s always worth a look (thanks to her style instincts) and because at a glance, we thought this looked pretty stylish. Turns out? Thumbnails lie!

Perhaps you disagree, but we though this looked more odd than fresh, more awkward than chic. They removed the fringe from the bodice of the dress and added more of it to the skirt, evidently (see look book shots below), but we really don’t think that jacket works all that well with it. Granted, that could be due to the fact that we really dislike the skirt, which looks like it’s made out of straw. And finally, we just don’t think beige pumps do anything for the outfit at all. It just doesn’t come together for us. And it feels like a lot for a day look. Her hair looks stunning, however.
