It’s not like tucking a ribbed sweater into a sequined maxi-skirt is a common look. She’s got a pretty no-nonsense approach to her style, so the sleekness and simplicity feel like they’re right in her wheelhouse, but this is also not a look we’d call easy to wear. The fit is impeccable but she doesn’t look like she’s got much leeway for taking deep breaths and we don’t love how bunched up it is in the back. We can’t help thinking that a different top would suit her better, but we also find the unusualness of the style a little appealing. We think the hair and makeup are at the exact level she’s willing to go, so for us, the question is whether the dress really works for her. In other words…
