The biggest style trend of the Vanity Fair Oscar party was a witchy, gothy, vampy glam. In other words, a whole lot of ladies went for the Big Black Dress.

Meh. If you’re going to wear black, make it interesting at least. The jewelry’s nice.

She had a very askew night.

 

 

Hailey Bieber in Saint Laurent

It’s dramatic, but the styling isn’t up to the dress’s level.

Sorry, but this looks silly as hell, Halle.

A lot of vampy Morticia/Elvira sorts of looks tonight. This works.

The body is slamming but the dress is overdesigned to the point of being ugly.

The dress looks incredibly heavy and the bandeau is distracting.

 

Jennifer Coolidge in Dolce & Gabbana

It’s campy va-va-voom and borders on costume with that hairstyle, but it’s fun and it suits her.

We love it, but once you see the toilet seat, you can’t unsee it.

 

 

Laura Harrier in Saint Laurent

Sexy, chic and gorgeous. The perfect sheer gown.

 

Marion Cotillard in Chanel

We don’t know… from certain angles, it’s giving sapphic vampire, but from certain other angles, we’re only getting Sicilian widow.

 

 

Megan Thee Stallion in Bach Mai

Looking like the worlds hottest oil slick. Her hair looks amazing.

 

Sarah Paulson in Nina Ricci Couture

The bulky sleeves work really well with the slim silhouette. It’s giving glam, with attitude. We’re not sure about the necklace, but we do like the idea of gold accents.

 

 

Vanessa Hudgens in Roberto Cavalli

So many of these looks are either uninteresting or wildly overdesigned. There’s way too much going on here.
