Zoe Saldana hit the streets this week to chat up the highly (?) anticipated Avatar: The Way of Water and her style was all over the map. Let’s assess.

It’s sleekly glamorous and kind of forgettable. It’s fine for a TV appearance, where the sparkle and sex appeal will keep all eyes on her, but it would probably disappoint us on a red carpet.

We loved this at first sight. The combination of the skirt, jacket and massive belt work really well for her and the look has a lot of impact and personality. Having said that, the combination of herringbone tweed and red patent leather is an odd one.

All of this looks very random and thrown together. The dress is a big ol’ nothing of a frock, but it could’ve worked with some smart styling. Those pumps and that jacket do nothing for the look. Admittedly, it looks a lot better on camera and without the coat, but we still think the shoes are wrong.
