Kate’s the biggest surprise here, since she spent the better part of our blogging careers stuck in the same body-con column gown. This is a really fun and surprising turn for her. It may not be the freshest or trendiest look in the word, but it really works for her because it has the one thing so many of her promotional looks lacked: a personality.

Is it a little Office Manager. Sure. A little. Could it be more exciting in a million different ways with just a little bit of effort? Absolutely. Does it suit her well? Perfectly, we’d say.

We have to admit that we burst out laughing at this, partially because it’s so attention-seeking and over-the-top for a photo call and partially because it strikes us as an odd choice for her, since she’s been working far more low-key looks of late. There’s entirely too much going on in this look for us to declare it anything but a mess.
