Miss Jessica Chastain breaks out some classic holiday party style and since we’re still recovering from the holiday party we threw this weekend, we’re making this a holiday-themed IN or OUT post. It’s not that we can’t come up with our own opinion about this look:
It’s a little basic, but kind of pretty, in a color we wouldn’t call the best one for her. It’s also over-embellished, but like we said: pretty enough. We might call the look unobjectionable, which is kinda what you want to go for when you’re attending a party in honor of someone else but you’re still expected to walk a red carpet. What we really call it is a “Pretty but” frock, as in “It’s pretty, but…” with some sort of string of noncommital complaints or shrugs. What we’re interested in here is if any of y’all have a more vehement reaction than our shrugs of acceptance. Is it causing feelings of covetousness or rage in you? Do you feel it’s a decent get-the-job done party dress or do you think it somehow doesn’t flatter or suit her? How about the hair and makeup? We’re feeling a little meh regarding the former and we question whether the lip is the best for her. All of this can be answered with one simple question:
