Or sitting down, for that matter. Any music award show red carpet is going to be a veritable amusement park of fashion, because recording artists are far more devoted to maintaining a brand than other celebrities and because with popular music, that brand is almost always tinged with some form of fuck-you rebellion. What we’re trying to say here is that this is perfectly on point, both for him and for the venue. It’s also, not for nothing, a pretty great suit and pair of boots, spikes aside. Our only real complaint is that this would have been so perfect to have worn during 2020, when social distancing was all the rage and red carpets were tense, unsure affairs. This would have looked really cool with a matching face mask.
