The stars of the new series adaptation of A League of Their Own stepped out onto the astroturf carpet for the series premiere and to our delight, most of them went hard on the fashion choices. Hard and sometimes a little cray.

It’s okay, if a little mumsy. The color looks great on her, but we really don’t like the half-sheer skirt. In other news, congrats to her and girlfriend Jodi Balfour of For All Mankind (below) on their engagement, which they announced on the red carpet.

It’s a little too much and we’d argue that it might not all go together seamlessly, but it’s such a fun and sexy take on an overdone look that it makes us smile. She clearly loves it.

This just looks like a bad vintage bridesmaid dress. You deserve better, D’Arcy.

This is gorgeous and her styling is flawless.

Ooof. Okay, then. Congrats on your engagement and we support your efforts in being freaky on the red carpet, but we cannot pretend we like this look.

We’ve really got to give it to this whole group of women. They’re really going for it in the fashion. Certain recent show launch casts have given the impression that it’s not worth doing promotional work, but these ladies are clearly all in. It’s impossible for us not to see wrapping paper here, but we sort of like the dress just for being so focus-pulling.

Ah, the freaky sporty gal has arrived. Welcome, queen. This isn’t fashion, but it sure is self-expression. You may have the floor without further commentary. Attention has been paid.

She looks cute, but we’d have liked this more in a richer color and the design of the bust is really awful.

Miss Lady WENT FOR IT. The dress is fun, but it’s a lot of dress to handle. We don’t think those heavy sandals go with it at all.

Simple, classic, can’t argue with the results.

Y’know, we could almost get behind this if she looked like she was comfortable wearing it. We don’t love the color or the textile, though. The shoes are a little insane, but they were meant to be.
