And now, a look at — oh, to hell with it. You scrolled right past these words in order to get a better look at her boob and we don’t blame you, so have at it:
Anitta sashayed into the history books last night as the first artist from Brazil to win a Video Music Award and the first one to win the Best Latin VMA. Congrats to her. Now let’s talk about her boob. Specifically, what Schiaparelli has called the Anatomical Bijoux Heart Pendant, even though we’d quibble with several words of that description. We tend to really like the Schiaparelli aesthetic and its obsession with human anatomy, but we may have to get off the bus on this stop. First, that thing is kind of ugly. Kinda hard to get past that. Second, it doesn’t really look like a heart to us at all. And third, it tends to ruin what could have been a killer dress. We love the design of the dress and we think the idea of wearing a large pendant in place of a fully functioning constructed bust is kind of fun and interesting. It’s not the boob that’s the problem or even the idea of an anatomical heart as a piece of jewelry. It’s just not very attractive to look at. And since we’re being nitpicky bitches, we might as well also note that her jewelry seems a little randomly chosen, sheer black hose feels weird with a gown, and the shoes kind of clash. But it’s definitely a memorable look. We’ll give it that.
