Just yesterday we wondered if Jessica Chastain was moving away from her Tammy Faye styles and toward a more Tammy Wynette sort of style in order to promote her upcoming limited series George and Tammy. Looking at her latest frock choice, we’re wondering if she’s just in some sort of major style rut.

Ohhhhhh, ma’am. That is a series of NOs, up and down. No to that shiny satin, no to that sewing class zipper, no to that wonky hem, no to the sheer hose with black pumps, no to getting into a limo wearing a satin mini-dress and expecting to look fresh when you get out of it. It’s a good thing this is only for some VIP dinner and not an actual premiere or anything. It might be one of the worst things we’ve seen her wear in a couple of years.
