We’re so very torn over Miley Cyrus’ frock. On the one hand, we support any gal who wants to go the semi-vintage route and pull from fashion history rather than ripping a look straight from the latest runway. On the other hand, this is a peach satin nightmare of a dress.
The most impressive thing here is how not-terrible she looks in it. We wouldn’t go so far as to say she’s pulling it off, because we just can’t bring ourselves to love a peach satin dress with an exposed bra detail, but this definitely feels like a dress that found itself on the right wearer. Her hair and makeup look great, which probably helps a lot. There isn’t one classic rocker chick hairstyle she can’t pull off, from mullets to shags, to two-tone blowouts.
