Björk in Loewe at THE NORTHMAN Reykjavík Premiere

We’re pretty sure we’ve never covered a movie premiere out of Iceland, but when a chance to feature Björk in high fashion presents itself, you don’t stop to question whether you should. The iconic musical pixie and star of The Northman came out for the film’s premiere in Reykjavík, looking both unexpected and also very much like the Björk we all know and love.

In a way, it seems like the fashion world finally caught up with her weirdness. Back in the day, if she was inclined to hit a movie premiere red carpet, she more than likely would not have sported such a relatively mainstream brand as Loewe. But times change and fashion moves ever forward, so it’s much easier for her to find looks that suit her unique style perfectly while also being ripped straight from the latest runways. Personally, we think she looks fantastic, even with the jelly fish wig. “i summon that tree!”
