Daisy Ridley shows up to the Stella McCartney show looking like a not particularly discreet spy or art thief and we find ourselves approving this sudden style swerve.

To be fair, we think this might be one of those “more than the sum of its parts” instances. She’s really making this look pop, but the longer we look at the coat, the less we’re loving the print on its own. Very “hotel room upholstery.” It goes without saying that the hem is giving us furious eye twitches, since we’ve spent at least a decade bitching about every asymmetrical hemline we see. We suppose a lot of the success of this look comes down to shades, boots and a good haircut, which isn’t perhaps the most ringing endorsement of Stella McCartney.
