We’ve only had a handful of opportunities to write about West Side Story star Ariana DeBose so far, but we’ve already reached the point where we have to refrain from over-using a certain word whenever her name comes up. That word?
CAROLINA HERRERA
“Dazzling.” There really is no other way to describe her. She’s got that old school glamour and sparkle coupled with a modern sense of style. What can we say? The lady’s a star. And like all stars, she got her legally required guest host gig on Saturday Night Live, an occasion for which she opted to serve up some seriously dazzling fashion. That’s right. We said it. And we’ll do it again, if we have to.
VALENTINO
We’re not surprised her SNL portraits tended to focus more on her dazz– on her lovely smile than the clothes she’s wearing, but Lorenzo compiled the look book shots so you can get a gander at the full outfit below. That Hererra gown is gorgeous on her (love the Dreamgirls-esque styling) and this Valentino feather jacket is cute in pictures but looks like it would be hell to wear in the real world.

GRETA CONSTANTINE
It’s exceedingly difficult to talk about the clothes, not because the pictures aren’t focusing on them (although that’s part of it), but because her personality overwhelms even the loudest outfits. No one’s ever gonna say of this gal that an ensemble is wearing her, rather than the other way around. Even so, these are great looks, loaded with style and personality.
MOSCHINO
Sexy, but also cute. Love the colors.
BRANDON MAXWELL
Just plain adorable. We can’t say we’d be fully on board with the socks if she were out on a red carpet in this ensemble, but in this setting, at this weird-as-hell time, it makes a really cute look.
It’s amazing how, in our effort to not overuse “dazzling,” we’ve wildly over-used “cute.”
VALENTINO
But come on! This is cute, right? Possibly the most dazzling pair of pajamas we’ve seen since lockdown! The first one, we mean.
