It’s been a minute or two since Miss J Law graced our pages, so we figured we’d give her a spotlight moment – especially since she’s wearing her contractually obligated brand and for once, they did right by her.
It’s not the most shocking or forward-facing look you’ll see this week. It’s not even all that trendy. But it’s a good basic dress that looks great on her. We’ve long felt her style sweet spot is located among the most generic styles available. That’s not an insult or anything. She’s a tall blonde who looks good in classic styles. Not like there’s any shame in that. Would we have rec’d something a little more adventurous than the slingbacks? Yes, but the shades make the look and we’re grateful she didn’t wear the dress the way the look book model does, with the skirt open and a pair of shorts underneath. She’s to be commended for avoiding that ill-advised attempt to make a classic look edgier than it needs to.
