It occurs to us that we haven’t checked in on Miss Gabrielle in some time. She never stopped serving looks on Instagram all through last year and this one. We suspect her commitment to style on lockdown caught the eye of some brands because there was a distinct stepping up of game some time last year. It went from “I’m just dressing up at home” to “I’m ready to hit the red carpet.” You never heard us complain, that’s for sure.

We bet the above picture makes you think she’s wearing something a lot crazier than she is. All the different colors and textures aside, it’s just a really cute frock with a summertime vibe:

We’re surprised to admit that we don’t even mind the asymmetrical hem – and that’s usually a thing we hate. Maybe it all comes down to her, because there are a few things here that should be annoying us (like those buttonholes), but she’s making it all look breezily effortless.

We do love the accessories, but we question pairing them. We realize shoes and bag don’t have to match – in fact, we’re usually totally opposed to the idea – but are these just a little too far apart? Especially since the bag was seemingly chosen to match the dress.
