To help announce the SAG Awards nominees, Miss Lily, who’s been distinguishing herself this past year as one of the very best practitioners of the WERQ-from-home look among the celebrity set, may just have settled on the ultimate Zoom ensemble. And by that we mean it’s great from the waist up, but everything below it should never see the light of day.

Girl, no. Your hair, makeup and shoulders look fantastic. It just keeps getting worse and worse as you go down. We’re the first queens in line to defend cray fashion by explaining the concepts of “editorial” looks or by encouraging more celebrities to step outside the limited confines of “glamour,” but there is no way in hell we’ll defend a design like this. We get the whole “screwing with your expectations” thing; the way the top starts off like a conventionally pretty, sparkly dress design and then transitions into a bunch of decisions that no one in their right mind would have expected. We’re all for that in fashion design. But everything from the waist down feels like a designer just fucking with people for the sake of it. It’s a simply awful design and absolutely the worst sheer skirt we’ve ever seen – and bitches, we’ve seen about ten thousand of them in the last five years or so.
