Gabrielle Union has distinguished herself in the past year by absolutely crushing it on the home-based style front, serving up one casually stylish day look after another until we finally had to declare her the Queen of Barefoot Chic. For this week’s drop-dead look, she went in a more … well, we wouldn’t call this a businesslike direction, but she clearly thinks so:

It’s been a while since either of us worked in an office, but we’re thinking most desk-bound ladies don’t show up looking like this on the regular. Even though she’s wearing the look exactly as the runway styled it, we don’t think the top goes with the jacket and skirt at all. The latter two have a sexy-casual vibe to them and we honestly think a t-shirt, bandeau or even a public bra would work better than this heavy, beaded number.
