Take a step away from whatever you’re anxiously obsessing over at the moment and step into a world of pure glamour, populated only by beautiful people. Here’s Ewan McGregor as the legendary designer Halston and Rebecca Dayan as Elsa Perretti, the celebrated jewelry designer who was one of the “Halstonettes,” a coterie of model/muses that included Anjelica Huston and Pat Cleveland.
They look freaking fabulous. McGregor is well cast as Halston, but only if he can give himself over to the sort of bored effete persona Halston cultivated. We featured pics from this shoot way back in the Before Times (featuring Rory Culkin as Joel Schumacher), so it’s nice to see they’ve picked things up on this limited series again.
