In a Cannes-free world, it behooves all of us to take a moment each day to remember and reflect on Cannes Festivals of yesteryear – specifically the fashion part of it, since that’s what we’re all here for. We had a little gown showdown last week, pitting several of the Cannes red carpet Style Queens against each other, but today, we’re taking a more casual approach. It fits with the theme, you see. Today’s collection of men are not serving you high formalwear, but a studied (mostly), styled (sometimes) celebrity take on appropriate beachwear. In other words, it’s sockless boys at photo calls.
Mr. Pretty gives us something of a nautical vibe, as if he’d just stepped off his yacht. It’s an image that suits him.
