Two blonde powerhouses! Two former costars! Two producing partners! Two good friends at the height of their respective games! LET’S PIT THEM AGAINST EACH OTHER FOR THE SHALLOWEST OF REASONS!
Come on. Everything’s on fire. Let’s have some dumb fun.
Lo’s Defense: I can’t tell if this is ironic or inevitable, but it seems to me that Reese is one of those women who does well with a little hardness and severity in her style. The Country Club look is hers to own if she wants it, but I think she becomes more interesting in something like this, which almost comes off like studded leather armor. She looks beautiful and sexy and glamorous, but she also looks formidable – and I think that’s exactly what she wanted. This is well done and well-matched to her.
T’s Defense: I actually agree with Lorenzo that Reese works harder looks well, which makes this a good jumping-on point to note that Nicole is the opposite: she wears softly romantic, softly glamorous, softly fantasy-based looks really well. She can handle a lot of sugar in her style; a level of sweetness or cuteness that she manages to keep from looking twee more often than not, but it needs just a hint of fairy-tale darkness underneath. The top half has a ’40s starlet feel to it while the bottom half gives way to a softly sexy feel. Rendered in a could-not-be-more-flattering midnight blue and it all comes together as a nearly perfect Kidman look.
Stirring words from these mouthy bitches! Which mouth made the best argument, kittens?
